Ceramic Pro ION is twice the strength (per coat) of 9H, has better scratch resistance and better chemical resistance, and installs faster. Why would you care that ION installs faster than 9H? First, it means we can get you your car back quicker. Second, although ION is significantly more expensive per bottle because it takes fewer coats and less labor, we were able to keep the pricing consistent. In fact, while a large truck or SUV will be slightly more, we have actually reduced the price of cars and small SUVs.
Ion works by a literal ionic exchange. As the base coat is applied, it forces the ions of the ceramic coating into the microscopic pores of the clear coat on your vehicle. This creates a permanent bond that will not wash away.
