PPF Excellence – Train & Train Again

Paint Protection Film Perfection Requires Continuous Training
Some might wonder why a Paint Protection Fim installation company that has already reached Elite status would continue to focus on training and retraining. In the past few months, we have had at least four, three-day training in San Diego CA. That includes different people and different product lines. But why?
The minute we drop our guard. The minute we stop getting better and stop pursuing excellence, is the minute we can no longer be the best.

The Paint Protection Film industry evolves almost daily. New adhesives, new films, new tools, and new installation techniques. When a customer brings in their brand new or used vehicle to us, we take that personally. In order to be the best we have to keep striving to get better. “The minute we drop our guard. The minute we stop getting better and stop pursuing excellence is the minute we can no longer be the best.”
Jeremy, one of the owners of Ceramic Pro Grand Junction, and his wife Darcie decided to make the trim to Ceramic Pro Carlsbad together and to train together. While they were in the same training session, they decided to work separately. This gave them the opportunity to learn independently and share their thoughts and skill with each other.
This trip was all about PPF and different types of applications. From Full hoods to clear bras and from computer cut to bulking, the emphasis was on being able to install PPF over every part of the vehicle absolutely perfectly.
The classes are taught by Ceramic Pro’s lead trainer Dane Gregory and PPF expert installer Garret Porto. The term class is a little misleading. They are not watching movies or taking notes from a book, they are doing real installations on real vehicles.
When it comes to paint protection film, our goal is to have our work be so good that no one ever notices. Every installation is so flawless that aside from the unimaginable gloss and enhanced appearance, no one would ever know a paint protection film or clear bra is in place.
